AHL Tours & Travel is a team of Florida local experts. From Florida we design private, small-group and group journeys across the USA and Canada and in Asia (Japan, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia), for families, friends, corporate groups, associations and MICE events. You deal directly with the people responsible for your trip: we arrange the vehicles, hotels, meals and guides ourselves, and we stay reachable from the first email until you are home.
OUR STORY
A lifelong love of travel led our founder, Quoc An (Andy) Tran, into the industry. He began in 1998 as a licensed international tour guide, leading domestic, inbound and outbound tour groups and MICE delegations through Vietnam and Southeast Asia. In 2007 he founded his own tour company in Ho Chi Minh City, licensed for international tour operations in 2010, and served as its managing director, operating tours across the three Indochina countries: Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos.
In 2014 he settled in Calgary, Alberta, as General Manager of Lavi Travel, running tours across Canada — the Rocky Mountains, Vancouver, Toronto, Niagara Falls, Montreal, Quebec and the Yukon. In 2017 he became owner of Canusa Travel, operating end-to-end journeys across Canada, the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean and Latin America.
In February 2025 he moved Canusa’s operations to the United States as AHL Tours & Travel Inc., headquartered in Tampa — bringing 28 years of experience across three countries to welcome travelers to Florida in person. Lavi Travel and Canusa are the predecessors of AHL.

HOSPITALITY, FROM THE INSIDE
From 2023 to 2025 our founder also owned two Saigon Chef restaurants in Calgary, Canada, alongside Canusa Travel, and helped organize community music and food festivals with the International Avenue BRZ. His restaurant, with its own stage, was a host venue of the East Town Get Down Independent Music & Food Festival and was recognised by the BRZ with Best New Business 2023 and Best Customer Service 2025. That background shapes AHL’s food experiences, group dinners and MICE programs. Running a restaurant teaches exactly what matters on a tour: meals that arrive on time, taste right and make every guest feel at home.
