Florida Highlights from Orlando

Welcome to Florida. Your driver meets you at Orlando International Airport (MCO) and takes you to your hotel in a private, air-conditioned vehicle. The rest of the day is free to settle in, with dinner suggestions near your hotel. Overnight Orlando.

A full day for Orlando's theme parks. Choose one park, such as a Walt Disney World park, Universal Orlando or SeaWorld, or a water park on a hot day. We arrange private transfers in the morning and evening and can advise on tickets, express passes and the best order to see the rides and shows (park tickets are extra). Overnight Orlando.

Head west across central Florida to Tampa Bay, the state's largest open-water estuary. Stop in historic Ybor City, founded by cigar makers in the 1880s, for Cuban bread and coffee and a look at the old cigar factories. In the afternoon continue to Clearwater Beach, known for its soft white sand, and watch the sunset from Pier 60 or the St. Pete Pier. Overnight Clearwater or St. Pete Beach.

Follow the Gulf Coast south to Sarasota for its beaches, St. Armands Circle shops and the optional Ringling Museum of Art and circus museum (admission extra). Continue to Naples, an elegant beach town with a historic downtown, palm-lined Fifth Avenue and the Naples Pier, ideal for an evening stroll. Overnight Naples.

Cross the Everglades on the scenic Tamiami Trail. Take an airboat ride through the sawgrass to spot alligators, wading birds and turtles, and visit the Miccosukee Indian Village to learn about the tribe's culture. Arrive in Miami in the afternoon. Overnight Miami.

A full day in Miami. See the pastel Art Deco district and Ocean Drive in South Beach, the murals of Wynwood Walls and Calle Ocho in Little Havana, with time for Cuban coffee and lunch. Spend the afternoon on the beach or shopping on Lincoln Road, with an optional Biscayne Bay cruise at sunset. Overnight Miami.

Drive north along the Atlantic coast on scenic A1A, past the mansions of Palm Beach and the quiet beaches of Vero Beach and Cocoa Beach. In the afternoon, visit Kennedy Space Center (optional, admission extra) to see the rockets, the Space Shuttle Atlantis and the launch pads of Cape Canaveral, then return to Orlando. Enjoy a relaxed morning by the pool or a last visit to a water park or outlet mall (optional), then transfer to Orlando International Airport for your flight home.
